The Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager is the leader of the TEAM who establishes the tone of the work environment, and the level of customer hospitality. You are responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience.

Key responsibilities include finding, hiring and developing employees, conducting new hire orientation and developing the training plan for each new hire. You're also responsible for scheduling and deploying the Team correctly, addressing performance issues, assisting in the resolution of customer issues and managing the restaurant budget and financial plans. A successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude. Job Requirements and Essential FunctionsHigh School Diploma or GED, College or University Degree preferred2-4 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility

Basic personal computer literacy

Strong preference for internal promote from Assistant General Manager position

Must be at least 21 years old

Must pass background check criteria and drug test

Must have reliable transportation

Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills

Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin

Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant

Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Responsible for the development and implementation of the agronomy marketing plan, the profitability of the agronomy department, the agronomy department sales focus and the supervision of the agronomy department personnel. SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP Supervises, leads, and develops the assigned crop specialists and crop associate's personnel to successfully grow the company's business by providing leadership, setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and actively maintaining performance management standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develops and implements agronomy marketing plans including marketing communications, strategic plans, and target budgets. Responsible for the profitability of the agronomy department through target marketing, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, continual management and evaluation of people and structure, managing fixed assets and inventories. Develops and implements an effective sales administration plan that includes setting expectations, training, regular in-field coaching, measuring results, and follow-up. Assists sales specialists on mid to large prospective sales calls and current "key" accounts. Develops annual sales goals and key objectives that align with organizational goals and objectives through collaboration with assigned product sales team, oversees implementation and is responsible for outcome. Works with operations manager on management of fixed assets and inventories. Responsible for ensuring assigned product sales team comply with government regulatory requirements, safety standards and company policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring company credit policies and procedures are followed within assigned product sales team. Promotes cross selling efforts between all department salespeople within the assigned territory. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Recruits, selects, and retains quality personnel. Trains, coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees to develop individual talents. Conducts and assists with training and informational meetings. Assists with the development of the company budget by forecasting sales volumes, project margins and expense items. Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts. Follows Conserv FS's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related area or the equivalent thereof, and 6 years or more of business related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate advanced marketing skills and sales leadership, supervisory skills, generate profitable sales, build a repeat customer base, and gain market share. Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and have the ability to travel independently and overnight. Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable professional certifications associated with the agronomy industry (CCA). Prefer an understanding of Conserv FS agronomy division products and services.
