The Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager is the leader of the TEAM who establishes the tone of the work environment, and the level of customer hospitality. You are responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience.

Key responsibilities include finding, hiring and developing employees, conducting new hire orientation and developing the training plan for each new hire. You're also responsible for scheduling and deploying the Team correctly, addressing performance issues, assisting in the resolution of customer issues and managing the restaurant budget and financial plans. A successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude. Job Requirements and Essential FunctionsHigh School Diploma or GED, College or University Degree preferred2-4 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility

Basic personal computer literacy

Strong preference for internal promote from Assistant General Manager position

Must be at least 21 years old

Must pass background check criteria and drug test

Must have reliable transportation

Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills

Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin

Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant

Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time

VIEW JOBS 4/12/2019 7:24:28 PM 2019-07-11T19:24 <p><strong>General Manager of Water and Wastewater</strong></p> <p><strong>City of Oskaloosa, Iowa</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Byrnes & Rupkey, Inc.</strong> has been retained by the <strong>Oskaloosa Municipal Water Department</strong> to conduct and facilitate a search for the <strong>General Manager of Water and Wastewater</strong>.</p> <p> </p> <p>The General Manager directly oversees water distribution, wastewater collection and storm water. The General Manager will oversee 15 full time employees and an annual operating budget of approximately $3.6 Million.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Goals:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Learn and understand the treatment processes at water and wastewater plants and be able to guide operations and explain the processes to the public and officials.</li> <li>Manage OMWD’s unaccounted for water loss and meet or exceed industry standard of 15%.</li> <li>Identify the needs and concerns of the wastewater department’s new NPDES permit.</li> <li>Establish a plan for employee development for both water and wastewater employees.</li> <li>Develop a strong working relationship with OMWD Board and staff, City staff and officials.</li> <li>Meet all benchmarks required in the 28E Agreement with the City of Oskaloosa.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain clean/safe water and implement a plan to reduce water loss.</li> <li>Proactively communicate with the Board of Trustees on matters of regulatory and community interest; prepare budget estimates, manage expenses, approve AP and staff requests; propose rate case adjustments.</li> <li>Collaborate with the City of Oskaloosa and the 28E agreement to provide the personnel necessary to safely manage, operate and maintain the city's wastewater collection system and treatment facilities to achieve optimum performance.</li> <li>Oversee system improvement projects.</li> <li>Keep operating costs of all systems to a minimum.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders within the community.</li> <li>Attend city council meetings and prepare water board meetings.   </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred. Will consider equivalent experience.</li> <li>7-10 years of water, wastewater or combination of related experience.</li> <li>Iowa Grade III Water Certification required.</li> <li>Iowa Grade IV Water Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.</li> <li>Iowa Wastewater Certification preferred or willingness to obtain and progress within 2 years.</li> <li>Must establish residency within 5 miles of Water Department within 6 months of hire.
