Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for completing the duties required to maintain the physical integrity of each assigned Burger King restaurant through the implementation of preventative maintenance and responding to the maintenance needs of each restaurant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Prioritize and complete needed equipment repairs as they occur in a timely fashion.
2.Work to implement preventive maintenance procedures as defined by company representatives.
3.Develop a work schedule to minimize the impact on customer service and restaurant operations.
4.Organize work activities to insure essential and minor repairs are completed in a timely fashion.
5.Complete necessary facility repairs.

Job Requirements


The candidate must have the ability to work independently. This individual also must have the ability to communicate with management and coworkers, and the ability to comprehend and appropriately react to others. The ability to perform multiple tasks, adjust to changing assignments, and maintain productivity, composure and a pleasant attitude under pressure are an essential part of this position.

Education and Experience:
1.General electrical, plumbing, carpentry knowledge is necessary.
2.General mechanical knowledge required.
3.Food Service Equipment Repair experience is a plus.
4.Certification in HVAC repair
5.High School Diploma or equivalent
6.Valid Driver's License required.
7.Basic computer skills required.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Sales and Service Technician services, installs, repairs and maintains all dispensing equipment in related product lines performed to customers' satisfaction. The Sales and Service Technician is responsible for the installation of beverage equipment, chemical mixing dispensing systems, and/or dishwashers. Additionally responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment including 24/7 emergency service calls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Install dispensing equipment efficiently and properly. * Repair all equipment in the territory assigned. * Maintain all dispensing equipment within established and acceptable time frames, including monthly maintenance on chemical and beverage accounts. * Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to electric, plumbing, installation of dishwashers, water lines, drain lines, and copper / pvc piping. * Respond to all service calls by phone and/or via physical inspection of equipment in a time frame that is conducive to an excellent service level. * Order parts as required and within contract requirements and/or customer needs. * Maintain an effective inventory level of parts. * Schedule a preventative maintenance schedule on chemical and beverage accounts. * Effectively communicate plans and activities to immediate supervisor. * Assist sales force in selling chemical and beverage products, including direct account penetration where applicable. * Display polite and courteous attitude with customers and sales personnel. * Properly communicate to appropriate personnel the status of job completions, repairs, and/or problems. * Responsible for increasing sales and profits in related product category, increasing account bases. * Reduce number of service calls through proactive preventative maintenance. * Monitor and ensure efficiencies related to number of weekly service calls, number of equipment installations, and number of preventative maintenance calls. * Complete documentation, service reports, inventory, van stock parts and equipment, and customer service reports, as well as maintain appropriate logs. * Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. CERTIFICATES, LICENCES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver's license.
