About the Restaurant Associate Line Cook position:

VIEW JOBS 10/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-17T00:00 Title: Production Line Leader Reports To: Production Manager Department: Operations Employment Status: Full time Core Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:45am - 4:30pm / Overtime based on customer demand FLSA Status: Non-exempt Position Summary: The Production Line Leader is responsible for being a resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. They are responsible for the routine communication of job assignments, training for specific production tasks, and placement of workers on the jobs. Essential Functions: * Read and understand instructions provided on a production ticket and/or online job spec pack. * Give directions/instructions to production workers as to their assigned tasks and how to successfully complete the task. * Complete an accurate production ticket with timesheet detailing hours worked on the job, quantity of product produced, and quality checks, etc. * Minimizes excess material on floor; ensure proper stock and availability of operation supplies and equipment. * Verifies that only accurate parts and documentation is available on the line. * Motivates and challenges all line members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely feedback. * Notifies Production Supervisor immediately regarding any employee problems, concerns and/or recommendations. * Correctly logs production data into computer system to track productivity. * Attends and participates in regular Line Leader meetings. * Follows all ISO, OSHA, AIB and GMP requirements, implements changes as required. Work Environment: This position is routinely required to work in an environment that produces a large amount of noise. Physical Demands: This position is required to stand and walk up to 2/3 or the time. This position is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or touch. Will verbally communicate and hear more than 2/3 of the time. This position does require the individual to lift up to 35 lbs. Close and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus are required to perform this position. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
