Responsible for performing all floor care assigned by the RT Supervisor or RT Charge Therapist once deemed competent. Will provide service to patients throughout the lifespan including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups. Respiratory Care Student will not be allowed to perform any invasive procedures such as nasotracheal suctioning, blood gases or care of ventilator patients.Minimum Qualifications*

Minimum Education:

Enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy Program approved by the CoArc. * Minimum Experience: Enrolled as a second year Respiratory Care Student. * Certification/Licensure: BLS. Must test and pass RRT within three months of graduation.
