Job Description:

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance.

We are seeking adjunct instructors to teach distance learning and face-to-face courses in the Respiratory Therapy Program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants are required to hold an AAS or AS in Respiratory Therapy, the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, and a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine. Two (2) years of recent clinical experience is also required.

Demonstrated ability to conduct student assessments for all course competencies. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to utilize basic computer applications such as email, scanning, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students. Selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college's pre-employment security screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a health related field
