The Health Professions department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Respiratory Therapy Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, a commitment to equity, inclusion, and the use of the classroom experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance.

Teach with excellence in the clinical settings to include therapies corresponding to the level of current student learning. Evaluate the students for grading purposes as part of mid-quarter and final evaluations. Participate with the Respiratory Therapy program faculty in exercises that correspond to interrater reliability (IRR).

Required Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related discipline required.

2 years of FT related occupational/current clinical experience to include general respiratory care and critical care.

Current BLS and ACLS certification

Current Nebraska Respiratory Therapy license

Must comply with recommended immunizations and drug testing for clinical participation.

Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Salary/Hourly Rate $580

The commitment would be 2 days a week for clinical only (Mondays and Wednesdays).

Courses are taught in class, online and/or a hybrid format. Must be available to teach day, evening or weekend courses.
