Respiratory Therapist, CRT or RRT

Full-time, Nights: 6:30 pm

• 7:00 am

Rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus

$10,000 FOR STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENTS - FULL TIME

Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory care.

• Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania

• CRT or RRT.

• Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in all phases of respiratory care.

• Effective and clear verbal/written communication.

• Ability to teach/instruct in a team oriented environment.

• Manual and finger dexterity/ mechanically inclined.

About the Job:

• Responsible for ensuring that cardiovascular/ respiratory care is rendered to patients in accordance with the NBRC and hospital standards.

• Provide consultation, instruction and technical direction to other staff members as needed.

• Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.

• Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.

• Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
