Respiratory Therapist Needed In Bristol, TN

Genie Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients suffering from respiratory disorders. Your expertise and care will contribute to improving the quality of life for your patients and ensuring their optimal respiratory health.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient's respiratory status and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Administer respiratory therapy modalities, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques and disease management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care
• Monitor and adjust respiratory therapy interventions based on patient response and physician orders

Requirements

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Tennessee
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
