Respiratory Therapist

Performs respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures to provide ventilator#assistance to, or evaluation of, patients with acute or chronic respiratory disease in critical, general, and emergency care areas for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatrics. Qualifications: Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the South Carolina State Medical Board. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required at time of hire or: CRT (RRT Eligible) - RRT must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire CRT (RRT Ineligible) # RRT must be obtained within twenty-four (24) months of hire
