The Respiratory Therapist is an individual contributor responsible for administering basic and advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, including arterial blood gases, humidifiers, and aerosols. The incumbent possesses proficiency in lung and breathing disorders and airway management.
Graduate from a Respiratory Care Program required.
Minimum one year experience in respiratory care required.
CRT or RRT required
Active state license for respiratory care
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or within 30 days of hire
Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be required based on discipline and/or facility requirements
