The Cardiopulmonary Coordinator is an individual who demonstrates supervisor skills and knowledge in the management of all types of patients (acute and chronic) ranging from "newborn" to "geriatric" population. Strict interdepartmental development and interpersonal skills are required to effectively provide the leadership and support to maintain working relationships within the various departments of the Hospital. Constant evaluation and monitoring of services assures quality care to the patient.
1.Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory care educational and training program of the equivalent thereof/and is licensed by DPR and NBRC
2.Bachelor's degree preferred
1.Supervisory or charge experience strongly preferred
2.A minimum of two years of intensive care and blood gas analysis experience, practices of Pulmonary/Respiratory Services and the basic sciences related to each.
3.Neonatal and Pediatric experience Required.
1.Current State of Florida license as a RRT (registry).
2.National Board for Respiratory Care credential preferred
3.Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
4.American Heart Association ACLS, PALS and NRP required or obtain within 60 days of hire.
