The Resource Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the material requirements plan with an accurate resource allocation for upcoming operational (PSD) and maintenance (TLM) activities that meet the planned and approved activities within the job horizon (0-30 days) and the short-term horizon (0-3 months) forecast. They provide M&S/Assets/Products to locations and wellsite as per requests in a timely and efficient manner. They act as a link between operations management and the planning & supply chain organization and build partnerships with delivery teams in OCC, Distribution hubs, EM centers to secure timely delivery of resources and services, monitor end-to-end visibility, and improve service level.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, validate, and/or compute short-term resource forecasts by generating and maintaining material requirements planning (MRP) schedules; based on historical data, production forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.

  • Analyze production and/or field requirements and material availability to ensure timely and accurate procurement of raw materials, components, and product supply.

  • Evaluate and prioritize MRP action messages to initiate expediting or rescheduling as needed.

  • Communicate and set BL expectations of escalated orders, updated lead times, and delivery status.

  • Convert demand signals from PSD or TLM through Planned Orders into Purchase Requisitions.

  • Conduct regular MRP system maintenance, including master data, lead times, reorder points, and safety stock review.

  • Monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, such as stock turns, supply cost, fill rates, service delivery, and on-time delivery to optimize stock levels.

  • Own Data Quality improvements in the S&OP process in the GU, such as, but not limited to: Supplier Lead Time, Open PO’s, GR/IR, MRP coverage, unassign fixed vendors.

  • Lead IBP reviews at the GU when applicable and ensure the actions are followed and executed.

  • Identify and address potential supply chain risks, such as shortages, delays, or quality issues, through proactive planning and communication.

  • Monitor and maintain the required delivery dates (RDD) against purchase order (PO) delivery dates through the Material Availability Reports to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Perform local netting within the country for all Assets, Products, and M&S categories and balance within shared zones.

  • Collaborate with TLM and PSD teams to understand capacity constraints and maintain lead times for effective planning.

  • Support fixed asset acquisition and/or disposal as required. Review PAC 2 reconciliation report and resolve non-conformances.

  • Request and approve or reject all field material/asset transfers (FMT/ FAT) in a timely manner.

  • Participate in BL job planning or project readiness assessments (PRAs) to understand demand gaps and communicate priorities to supply functions, ensuring that constraints such as TCC, Import / Export regulations, lead times, and local logistics are accounted for.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to procurement, logistics, and quality control, to ensure smooth material flow, minimizing disruptions while considering potential cost variations.

  • Liaise with the respective function (TLM, Supply Chain, PSD) to analyze and consolidate the cost and cost variations associated with the fulfillment of the demand for products, materials & assets in the short-term horizon and propose improvement plans whenever applicable, such as, but not limited to material substitutions and localizations.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to procurement, inventory control, and supply chain management.

  • Validate correct cost allocation by having service or rental POs correctly categorized by adding Cost center or WBS where applicable.

  • Engage in tender process with S&C, Sourcing for Sales, PSD and validate tender assumptions including but not limited to equipment or rentals availability, financial assumptions.

  • Own the process to update master data in the geography, such as Material master or FAL.

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Business Administrations, Supply Chain

  • Experience 5-10 years in Coordinating tasks with different stake holders, in any of the above roles,

  • Expert Knowledge in Microsoft excel

  • Communications Skills

  • Time management

  • Ability to priority to requirements

  • SAP Knowledge

  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

  •     The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law.  The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.  Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

  •     At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range.  The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 OR anticipated hourly salary rate is ____.
