The primary purpose of this position is to Performs Human Resources (HR) support work to assigned organization responsible for military and civilian resources.

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the assigned organization, ensuring that human resources functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Workforce Management for supported organization. Creates and processes all manpower and personnel actions on assigned personnel.
Represents the assigned directorate and interact with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Develops and recommends human resources and policies and guidance for Directorate of functional activities, and performs continuous appraisal of the utilization of human resources in accomplishing objectives and goals.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include experience applying human resource experience, to plan, organize, and determine necessary policies, regulations, directives, programs, and procedures for the development and execution of assigned programs AND skill in application of automated systems, systems administration, and data standardization.
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Support Positions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1.Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods to accomplish long-range strategic planning for human resources and to provide definitive input on proposed legislative and regulatory changes.
2.Knowledge of USAF, AFMC, and LCMC organizations, programs, missions, and functions to analyze and determine human resources plans, programs, and initiatives to support customers' current and future requirements.
3.Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
4.Mastery of advanced management and organizational principles and practices along with a comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions, e.g., civilian personnel, military personnel, manpower, etc., to develop and implement integrated approaches and solutions to significant human resources concerns and issues.
5.Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization..
6.Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to achieve stated positions or to make an adequate case for a particular strategy which may or may not be readily accepted, but is the best solution to achieve overall LCMC goals.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
