  • Understanding of distribution systems and outage coordination
Description: Join our team as a Resource Scheduler – Permitting Coordination where you'll play a vital role in facilitating permitting processes and coordinating various prerequisites for hard money bid packages and capital projects. With a team of approximately 16 individuals, your primary responsibility will involve managing permitting tasks and ensuring project compliance with regulatory requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Your typical day will involve reviewing the work queue to prioritize permitting tasks, taking necessary actions to obtain permits, and coordinating with project managers to evaluate schedule risks. Additionally, you'll initiate ROW permit applications for different jurisdictions, facilitate planned outage switching sheets, and communicate schedule adjustments as needed.
Interaction Level: You'll have frequent interaction with team members and team leads, collaborating closely to achieve project objectives. While interaction with the hiring manager will be less frequent, you'll receive guidance and support as needed.
Top Priorities: Your initial focus will be on understanding our systems, processes, and team culture. Learning the nuances of permitting procedures will be essential to effectively fulfill your role.
Challenges: The primary challenge in this role will be mastering the complexities of permitting processes and navigating various jurisdictional requirements efficiently.
Education Requirements: No specific degree required; relevant experience preferred.
Experience: More than 2 years of relevant experience.
Work Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, with the flexibility of remote work.
Location: Remote work (local candidates only).
Potential for Extension: Based on performance, there's potential for extension every 6 months.
