The Registered Dietitian's primary responsibilities include application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) including the completion of the nutrition assessment, determination of the nutrition diagnosis, developing nutrition focused, evidence based interventions (including the nutrition prescription i.e. diet/feeding order) and nutrition monitoring and evaluation for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Basic Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Nutrition or Dietetics (or equivalent level of education and experience)

Licenses

  • Dietitian

  • Registered (REG DIET) 120 Days

Preferred Qualifications:

Education

  • Master's Degree in in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

Experience

  • 2 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in nutrition and dietetics focused

Licenses

  • Nutrition Support Clinician, Certified (CNSC)

Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition, Certified (CSP)

Specialist in Oncology Nutrition, Certified (CSO)

Diabetic Educator

  • Certified (CDE)

Clinical Area of Specialty Certification
