EisnerAmper is seeking a Director to oversee and manage our Global Tax Resource Management team.

Our resource management team is responsible for the distribution of client work and serves as the primary contact for work allocation, assignments, questions, and concerns for EisnerAmper's tax accountants. Our talented professionals are responsible for providing our colleagues with reasonable and meaningful experiences to promote their career growth by developing and building diverse teams. This individual will serve as a trusted business partner working closely with Tax Service Line Leaders and colleagues at all levels and will also collaborate with other internal functional groups firmwide.

This position will be hybrid with three days per week in-office with preference to be based in the New York, NY, Iselin, NJ, or Melville, NY office.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

  • Lead and execute on all aspects of tax scheduling.

  • Work closely with Tax colleagues and other team leaders to ensure effective management of project engagements

  • Subject Matt Expert (SME) on Resource Management Systems.

  • Promote global scheduling efforts across the Tax Service Line

  • Challenge business requests when necessary and influence an appropriate all-around resolution

  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve scheduling conflicts and backfilling resources

  • Assist in managing overall workforce planning by monitoring headcount, turnover, utilization, and other key metrics

  • Liaise across the Resource Management team and other internal functional groups (i.e., HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, IT, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Finance, Learning & Development, etc.) to execute resource related initiatives

  • Support execution of performance management processes during year-end reviews

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 10 + years of experience within resource management, scheduling, people management, or deployment at a public accounting firm

  • A minimum of three years with full responsibility leading a team and directing deployment for a public accounting firm

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a team and directing deployment for a public accounting firm within the tax practice

  • Knowledge of scheduling software (preferably some knowledge of Pro Staff)

  • Working knowledge of Workday

  • Strong process thinker focused on continuous improvement.

  • Ability to influence multiple constituents.

  • Proficiency in handling employee-relations issues related to resource management at all levels.

  • Ability to recognize and escalate potential employee relation issues to the HRPB team.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced client service driven business environment

  • Ability to thrive and adapt to a continuously growing organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills to decipher and summarize very large quantity of data

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong project management and organization skills

  • Effective problem-solving skills

  • Confident and resilient in negotiation skills while partnering with colleagues across the firm

  • Exercises sound judgement, knowing how to operate independently and escalate matters as appropriate

120000

and

250000

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
