Resource Coordinator .45 FTE / Registered Nurse .45 FTE (.9 FTE Jobshare) Under the general guidance of the Director, is responsible for supervising, facilitating, coordinating, coaching, and managing, in conjunction with the care teams, the use of supplies, equipment, and human resources to achieve desired patient outcomes and to promote professional development in an inpatient setting. Functions within the permissible and evolving scope of nursing practice as defined by the Arizona Board of Nursing and YRMC's policies and standards of professional organizations.
This role serves to continually mentor and train staff and is responsible for maintaining appropriate databases through collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, information services, medical records, and biomedical engineering. Accountable for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbent's responsibility in support of the mission, vision and strategic objectives of YRMC. Posting Department Tower 5 Posting Department Description Tower 5 is a 36-bed private room medical/surgical patient care department that provides excellent care and customer service for patients being treated for general medical conditions, including acute stroke, and patients recovering from surgery. 36 telemetry beds are available to monitor and support this patient population.

Achieve Specialty Certification within 1 year of employment. Current Arizona or Compact State Licensure as Registered Nurse BCLS; Advanced life support certification(s) as appropriate & required for assigned department. Education Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field External Experience Experience Required: 2 Years experience in an acute care setting Computer proficiency (must be able to pass computer proficiency assessment) Experience Preferred: One year supervisory/leadership experience. Specialty certification preferred.
