Responsibilities

As a Resource Center Representative, you will:

  • Provide a high level of service when assisting external and internal customers by maintaining resource knowledge to ensure seamless access to all Hazelden Betty Ford programs and services.

  • Respond to customer's requests, utilizing communication skills, via telephone-mail, and written correspondence by gathering pertinent information and forwarding it appropriately.

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent

  • Sales/customer service experience required

  • Ability to type 30 words per minute required

  • Basic knowledge of chemical dependency

  • Experience with MS Office software required

  • Ability to speak Spanish desired

  • Able to work rotating holidays

Full Time, permanent employees of this Department receive all of the same benefits of any other full time, permanent RN including Tuition Reimbursement, Retirement Plan, and Earned Time Off while putting their skillset to use by working in various units throughout the hospitals! The Clinical Resource Nurse is a full-time nursing position available for experienced nurses who are able to work throughout the inpatient Critical Care Units in Center City (Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience). The ability to float to all intermediate care and medical-surgical units is required. Day and Night rotating shifts or Permanent Night shifts are available. Nurses are required to work every third weekend as well as a holiday schedule. 72 hours biweekly. Qualifications BSN degree required as well as a minimum of 2 years current Critical/Intensive Care unit experience. Current CPR and ACLS required. Critical Care Resource Nurses are pulled to Intermediate Care and Medical-Surgical Units. Conditions of Employment Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
