The iconic Hotel del Coronado is seeking a Resort Membership Sales Manager to join the leadership team!
Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms (to include cottages and villas), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.
The responsibilities of this role include driving new membership sales, maximizing revenue, and delivering exceptional member experiences. It requires excellent interpersonal skills, and comprehensive knowledge of luxury hospitality.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding skills in relationship-building and interpersonal communication, proficiency in digital tools, particularly the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience in private club membership sales is preferred.

What will I be doing?
The Resort Membership Sales Manager will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Develop and execute a comprehensive membership sales strategy to drive new member acquisition and achieve revenue targets.
Identify target markets and segments, conduct market research, and analyze the competition to position the resort effectively.
Create and implement sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to attract potential members and enhance membership retention.
Conduct engaging and informative membership presentations to potential members, highlighting the unique benefits and offerings of Hotel del Coronado.
Conduct property tours, showcasing resort facilities, amenities, and member-exclusive spaces.
Address member inquiries, provide personalized recommendations, and negotiate membership terms and pricing.
Responsibilities
Discover and meet new prospects by scheduling, coordinating, and conducting client meetings via phone, video conference, in-person appointment, and networking events
Work closely with all internal departments for cross-promotional initiatives and assist in all projects as needed
Devise and implement a comprehensive plan to generate a prospect pipeline to achieve Membership growth
Responsible for New Member communication campaign resulting in Member referrals.
Define Member prospecting strategy across all channels, leveraging first and third-party data analysis
Create and manage acquisition, renewals, telemarketing, upgrades, and annual fund campaigns. Test new methods to maintain/grow membership.
Create a member research plan to assess member satisfaction and provide relevant insights to the organization.
Take on a book of business to generate revenue with the primary focus on selling full-season memberships

Excellent relationship builder with interpersonal skills

The annual salary for this role is $73,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
