DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This is a limited-term position that assists in managing federal grants focused on agricultural supply chain development through supporting farm and food businesses. Responsibilities include overseeing fund utilization, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring project alignment with grant objectives.
Individuals with the following experience are encouraged to submit their applications. Well-versed in food manufacturing, processing, and/or distribution, advanced knowledge of the food system in Pennsylvania, excellent communication and presentation abilities, previous experience collaborating with various stakeholder groups, and proven track record in effectively managing multiple concurrent or consecutive projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This is a federally funded limited-term position. Funding is approved until June 30, 2027 and will be extended if additional funds are received.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Five years of experience in food manufacturing and/or distribution combined
Three years of experience in business management including managing budgets and bringing products to sale
Experience increasing operational efficiency in a manufacturing, processing, or distribution environment
Three years of experience managing/presenting business data
