Shift: Day

Summary of Duties:

To provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients to ensure the safety and well being of patients and staff. Create and implement individualized treatment plan for patients in a timely manner.

Treatment plan is consistent with the needs indicated in psycho-social history and appropriate assessments. Facilitate group therapy in a manner that optimizes peer experiences and input.

Qualifications

Therapist Job Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work required

  • Alabama State Licensure (ALC/LPC/LMSW/LICSW)

  • Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.

  • Preferred experience working with adolscent mental health.
