Is responsible for assisting the Residence Hall Director in implementing, monitoring and reporting on all programs, designed to promote the growth and development of students.
Is responsible for assisting the Residence Hall Director in orientation of new students to the University as well as the Residence Hall.
Is responsible for assisting the Residence Hall Director in enforcing Residence Hall policies and regulations.
Counsels and advises students and/or refers to appropriate resource persons. Performs related duties as required.
The Support Staff is responsible for assisting the Residence Hall Director in maintaining records and reports for incidents, damages and repairs.
Duties may be performed or assigned on other designated shifts and/or buildings as necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree and residence hall experience preferred. Support Staff must have some counseling experience, group work or human relations training.
Conditions of Employment:
The Support Staff may be required to work on campus during usual break periods (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and inclement weather etc.).
