As a Residential Supervisor, you will work within an adult residential setting in Hammonton, Camden County, NJ. The residential group homes provide community based living for adults with a severe and persistent mental illness who have been discharged from Ancora State Psychiatric Hospital after a minimal stay of six months.
Assist with the development of initial and comprehensive service plans
Provide on-site consumer supervision
Individual service coordination activities
Provide written reports to Program Supervisor
Provide proper training and assistance with hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, laundry, and household chores
Supervise and organize recreational activities
Participate in the formulation of treatment plans, weekly staff meetings and staff training sessions
Complete functional assessments
Record significant shift incidents and observations
Provide training/direction in bedtime readiness
Distribute and document of all medications
Have flexibility to be pulled to work in other residential group homes
Respond to emergency situations as directed by the Program Supervisor
Availability to consumers and staff on a 24 hour emergency basis

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in mental health, health or another appropriate human service related discipline or
At least one year of related work or life experience if the four year college education does not meet the requirements of the above or
License as a registered nurse or
A combination of one or more years of college, plus related work or life experience together equaling four years or
License as a practical nurse plus two years of related work of life experience or
High school diploma or the equivalent, plus four years related work or life experience; a valid driver's license.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in a mental health residential setting.
