Residential Services Specialist

Connexus Energy is seeking a customer service oriented, problem solver to serve as the main point of contact related to new residential services. You will be the main point of contact for our members, developers, builders, and Connexus Energy staff to help coordinate work and resolve problems while enhancing member relations. This position requires a Monday - Friday schedule with flexibility of a hybrid work environment, working from home up to a few days a week.

Key Result Responsibilities & Results

• Process all applications for new residential services accurately and facilitate the coordination of work, internally and externally, and in a timely manner, to ensure construction timelines are met.

• Main point-of-contact for members to process pre-construction requests, explain the construction process, manage member expectations and ensure the accuracy of submitted materials.

• Provide members with the details of the design process and explain Connexus Energy's standards,

• Complete reconciliation of new services: all material and labor to ensure accurate accounting, member charges and mapping.

• Participate in the development, implementation and execution of member communication process.

• Monitor aging work orders and verify target start dates with builders

• Participate in continuous improvement processes to evaluate, identify and implement process improvements for residential service process.

• Provide backup support to department including assisting with locates, resource planning, scanning/filing and outdoor lighting project management generation as needed

Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Talents:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Two years customer service experience

• Ability to create and maintain positive work relationships

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills

• Able to think creatively, problem solve, adjust and improve processes

• Ability to independently manage and prioritize workload

• Ability to develop technical knowledge of electric utility distribution, construction and maintenance

• Ability to develop technical knowledge of design process and components

• Ability to learn and become effective in the use of enterprise software systems

• Experience and proficiency in the use of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Talents:

• Associates degree

• Three years of experience related to construction and/or in electric utility industry

• Ability to read and understand construction and maintenance Work Orders
