Residential Service Electrician

Position Title: Residential Service Electrician (Master or Journeyman Level) Location:

Fort Wayne, IN Position Type: Full-Time Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Service Electrician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems and be capable of performing a variety of residential electrical services. A Master Electrician who can serve as the Qualifier is preferred, but we are also open to applications from highly qualified Journeyman Electricians. Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, fixtures, and circuit breakers.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and explaining electrical issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify and correct potential hazards or code violations.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely project completion. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

If qualified as a Master Electrician, serve as the Qualifier for the company, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and overseeing the work of other electricians. Qualifications: Valid Master or Journeyman Electrician license. Extensive knowledge of residential electrical systems and components.

Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and conditions. Preferred Qualifications: Master Electrician license and the ability to serve as the Qualifier for the company.
