About The Role:

We have several Residential Recovery Specialist positions available in our four bed, 24/7 residential facility for adults who suffer from mental illness and/or crisis. The Residential Recovery Specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure therapeutic environment at all times with an emphasis on high quality of services and satisfaction of the clients served. Other duties include: conducting individual and group support sessions, care coordination activities with a focus on developing and maintaining independent coping, social and living skills as outlined in their treatment plan. Additionally, the RRS may provide necessary approved transportation and program related errands (either in agency or personal vehicle).

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work or other relevant education preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License reliable transportation and current liability automobile insurance coverage.
  • Successful completion of criminal history background check after hire.
  • Prior experience in the provision of mental health services is preferred, ideally with knowledge of risk assessments.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a kind, nurturing and patient demeanor in crisis situations.
  • General knowledge of community resources, standard models of service coordination, and/or experience working in a variety of human services settings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook required.
  • Knowledge of computer operations and EHR software a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

VIEW JOBS 12/24/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-03-24T00:00 Position Summary The Telecommunications Specialist will assist in planning, developing, and implementing the Company's telecommunications infrastructure including installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing network and telephone systems. The incumbent will also analyze and resolve telecommunications circuit issues in a timely and accurate manner by working with carriers and third-party technicians in order to support end user needs. Key Responsibilities * Manages and administers WAN and LAN routers and switches and the telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including Cisco CUCM, CUCN, IM&P and UCCX. * Works directly with multiple telecommunication carriers on trouble tickets and new services. * Diagnoses, schedules, dispatches, and works with third party technicians on repairs and new installations; interacts and negotiates with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure communications products and services in a timely and professional manner. * Interacts with technical staff to ensure the safe and proper installation of cabling, wiring, and other electrical hardware. * Manages all POTS lines, MPLS circuits, PRI circuits, and SIP-trunks Company wide as well as all secondary internet circuits such as DSL or cable modems. * Acts as the escalation point for the Help Desk on issues related to telecommunications and provides on-call technical support. * Designs and oversees telecommunications projects with a goal to improving or expanding the current infrastructure; conducts research on emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of telecommunications equipment procurement and development efforts. * Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and training plans for telecommunication systems administration and appropriate use. * Assesses the need for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant), make recommendations and execute them as approved. * Administers add, move, and change requests from end users as well as new line installations as required. * Monitors and identifies capacity and performance issues for telecommunications traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telecommunications systems. * Generates telecommunications usage and inventory reports as required. * Conducts testing and development of disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions, and backup systems. * Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values. Education, Experience & Qualifications The successful candidate will have an Associate's degree in a related field or 1-3 years equivalent work experience, the ability to travel to support all Casella business offices on an as-needed basis, strong hands-on knowledge of the installation, implementation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and voice/data equipment including Cisco Unified Communications and Cisco routers and switches and be highly self-motivated and directed. The ability to conduct research into telecommunications issues and products is required and certifications in CompTia or Cisco are preferred. Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, strong customer service orientation, strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities are needed. Hands-on experience designing, installing, and troubleshooting cabling and wiring systems, a working technical knowledge of telecommunications practices and protocols and principals, ability to research, prepare and present cost estimates, budget reports, etc., adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals are expected.
