Residential Program Manager

Responsible for the management, coordination and provision of all services provided at an assigned residential location.

Responsible for the support, evaluation and treatment of adults with intellectual disabilities.

Preserve the Human Rights and dignity of the people we serve.

Supervise, evaluate and train staff.

Cover shifts in an efficient and cost-effective manner

Implement behavior plan interventions

Coordinate/attend medical and therapeutic appointments

Administer medications

Interview, train and evaluate staff, facilitate staff meetings

Oversee all phases of the ISP development

Develop, update and maintain records, reports, graphs etc.

Perform direct care duties as needed

Arrange for house & vehicle maintenance

Complete staff bi-weekly payroll

Maintain communication with families and team members

Maintain Survey & Certification standards

Continue professional development by attending trainings

Minimum Requirements:
Related BA degree preferred.

High School graduate/equivalent, previous supervisory experience, residential experience at a facility for intellectual disabilities. Valid Drivers license, proficient computer skills, ability to be a professional role model.

VIEW JOBS 3/29/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-27T00:00 * Provide clinical support to Residential Manager and Residential Registered Nurse. * Assist with the direct provision of all homecare/healthcare services. * Provide clinical consultation regarding health care issues or newly diagnosed conditions. * Administer medication and treatments. * Monitor and record vitals. Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs. * Review physician orders, treatments and medications. * Conduct periodic review of dietary restrictions and residential menus. * Oversight for hospital admissions and discharge, attend medical appointments. Respond to emergency situations. * Complete medical assessments and progress notes. * Attend meetings regarding healthcare/medical concerns. * Provide training as needed for current and newly hired staff regarding medical needs. * Act as liaison with families, staff, service providers etc. * Provide general tasks of residential living, housekeeping tasks, cooking, snow removal, transportation, community outings as a vital part of the residential team. Develop skills of self-care, safety, social skills, and independence. Substitute for others as requested. * Additional Requirements: Valid LPN certification.
