Residential Manager

Earn $21.00/Hour.

Resident Managers are responsible for the complete operation of an apartment at Allegheny Valley School Philadelphia (Verree Road Campus - a residential facility for individuals with developmental disabilities). The Resident Manager will work in conjunction with professional staff in the comprehensive delivery of services to the individuals. Resident Managers must be available on all shifts to provide proper training and supervision of staff.

The Resident Managers are responsible for developing and implementing all facets of home life, as close to a normal family unit as possible. In addition, they must develop an appropriate and wholesome environment within the apartment for all individuals. Supervision of this position is provided by the Resident Service Director or designee. The Resident Manager provides supervision and evaluation of Habilitation Workers.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program with specialized training, and/or a minimum of one year's experience in working with the developmentally disabled; and/or any combination of education, experience or training deemed appropriate by the Associate Service Director.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must have valid driver's license.
