ABOUT THE JOB:
This is a very important position to our small property management team. The Residential Maintenance Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of maintenance for our property management company, as well as ensuring that properties are processed for turns in a timely manner. This position is mainly administrative; though duties also include inspecting each unit before move-in to ensure quality, meeting vendors for inspections, and overseeing projects.
This is a full-time position. Time will be spent both in and out of our office.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
Someone who loves Grand Rapids, neighborhoods, housing, and property management as much as we do. The ideal candidate will have the following:
Knowledge of property maintenance and housing code.
Previous management experience.
Previous experience in housing, property management, hospitality, accounting, or related field.
THE JOB REQUIRES:
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license to meet vendors, inspectors, process move outs, etc.
A collaborative spirit to participate as a member of our team in a small-office work environment.
Computer skills for managing work orders and communications.
High level of organization and the ability to manage many moving parts.
Excellent written and interpersonal communications with tenants, team members, and vendors.
The ability to manage their own time effectively and efficiently in order to accomplish a variety of tasks.
A close attention to detail to ensure a high quality for our tenants and owners.
