Consumer Direct Sales Specialist

Windstream is a technology company that provides Internet, Phone, Digital TV, and Security solutions to consumers across the US and we are looking Consumer Direct Sales Specialist members to support our growth. Every new Consumer Direct Sales Specialist will receive comprehensive paid training where we will teach you everything you need to know about sales whether you are experienced or not. The Consumer Direct Sales Specialist is responsible for selling the appropriate mix of products using bundled solutions to new and existing customers.

Essential job functions include:

  • Completing orders timely to ensure accurate service, activation and billing.

  • Meeting product and service sales quotas.

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

  • Selling Door to Door within the Windstream Service Territories.

  • Working Windstream Special Events

  • Ability to work outdoors in all adverse weather conditions

Minimum Requirements:

College degree or equivalent and 0-2 years professional level job related experience; or 4 years professional level equivalent related experience; or a combination of education and related professional level experience required.

Desired qualifications:

The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of Wireline sales and merchandising strategies. Previous sale experience is strongly preferred.

  • Valid drivers license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and use of a reliable personal vehicle required.

VIEW JOBS 10/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-15T00:00 Work as a Field Subcontract Administrator at a large Construction Project Site in Sanford, NC as a member of an onsite Construction Management Team. Reporting directly to the Field Subcontracts Manager, the Field Subcontracts Administrator will perform the overall management of subcontracts from inquiry through award, execution, and closeout pursuant to established procedures. Position Summary The Field Subcontract Administrator will be responsible for overall subcontractor onboarding and administration, as well as other field purchasing activities. Daily responsibilities shall typically include: * Establishing bidders lists for all subcontracts, including pre-qualification of bidders. * Issuing inquiry packages in accordance with execution schedule. * Working with Engineering and Construction regarding the technical content of each inquiry and Subcontract. * Evaluating bids/proposals and preparing the award recommendation documentation. * Developing and distributing 'Conformed Subcontracts' following award. * With assistance from the Field Subcontracts Manager, negotiating change orders and other commercial oriented matters through closeout. * Maintaining proper files on all pre-award and post award documentation. * Auditing and processing subcontract invoices for payment, maintaining subcontract logs and issuing weekly and monthly department and project reporting. * Work closely with Construction to oversee activities of multiple Subcontracts. * Managing the order and receipt of field purchasing items such as supplies, consumables, tents, trailers, portable restrooms, etc. #AF #AdvancedFacilities #LifeSciences * 5 years' experience in contracting, BA or BS or equivalent experience in related field * Experience with EPC prime contract, EPCM subcontract and purchase order development, negotiation and administration * Knowledge of claims, construction law, and contracting principles * Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. System proficiency (Prolog) a plus. * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to explain complex issues in lay terms. * Excellent decision-making skills which are critical in resolving conflict or infringements that arise from existing contracts in the business unit. * Negotiation and analytical skills. * Works independently with minimal guidance. * Comfortable interfacing with operational and client management. * Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously. * Must demonstrate client-focused approach to business activities within companies' risk profile. * Willingness to travel.
