Job Description: Respond to service calls in a timely fashion and demonstrate a courteous, and professional attitude dealing with residents. Diagnose and repair various residential electrical issues. Install electrical systems such as ceiling fans, lighting, GFCIs, exhaust fans, switches and receptacles. Repair and upgrade panels. Run wire, install junction boxes, etc. Read and comprehend work order details and home inspection reports including scope and material budgets.

Must have own tools and transportation

VIEW JOBS 9/27/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-26T00:00 <p>Requisition 32866: Locomotive Electrician - Birmingham, AL</p><p>#LI-JR1</p><p>Job Description</p><p>Scope: Maintain, repair, rebuild, inspect and install all electrical wiring and equipment on diesel electric locomotives.</p><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)</p></li><li><p>Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble connections to control panels and junction boxes</p></li><li><p>Test circuit connections. Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical malfunctions in components including loading charging, transition problems, wheel slip, sander circuits and high and low voltage grounds</p></li><li><p>Perform work activities utilizing voltages up to 1200 and amperages up to 1500</p></li><li><p>Examine parts for wear and/or defects such as brushes contact tips, slip rings, armatures, diodes, bearings and fuses</p></li><li><p>Interpret test instrument indicators</p></li><li><p>Repair speed recorders, air compressors, turbo and fuel pumps and temperature switches.
