Residential Electrician Area Manager

Job Description Job Description Position Overview: As a Residential Electrician Area Manager, you will oversee the operations and performance of our residential electrical services division in your designated area.

You will be responsible for leading a team of residential electricians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing client relationships, coordinating scheduling, providing technical expertise, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of residential electricians to achieve individual and team goals. Project Management:

Coordinate and schedule residential electrical projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion. Quality Assurance: Oversee work quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with residential clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally. Technical Expertise:

Provide technical guidance and support to electricians, troubleshooting complex issues and offering solutions. Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Resource Management: Manage inventory, tools, and equipment efficiently to support project requirements. Performance Evaluation:

Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability, implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team. Qualifications: Proven experience as a residential electrician, with a minimum of [X] years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Valid electrician license and certification (where applicable). Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical systems and equipment. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
