Residential Director - Developmental Disabilities Services

Salary: $85k-90k/annually

Job Description:

As a Residential Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our residential programs, ensuring the highest standards of care for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to promote individual growth and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Residential Program Coordinators, Managers, and Direct Care Staff

• Ensure the implementation of person-centered active treatment programs

• Oversee the maintenance of resident case records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

• Chair the Human Rights Committee and ensure adherence to policy and protocols

• Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to enhance service provision

• Monitor services for quality care and compliance within established guidelines

• Provide immediate intervention in crisis situations and notify appropriate parties

• Uphold legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive supervisory experience in developmental disabilities services

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software systems

• Valid unrestricted driver's license and ability to travel between locations

• Successful completion of criminal background history and fingerprint examination
