As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement. In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by either building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life.

Residential Counselors have a range of duties include administrating medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP), implementing treatment plans, and assisting people with activities of daily living, such as household chores and cooking. You also strengthen residents' connection to their community by providing transportation on outings such as shopping and doctor's appointments.

National Grid is hiring a Lead Analyst, Residential Category-Transportation in Waltham, MA. Job Purpose As a leading electricity, natural gas, and clean energy delivery company serving more than 20 million people across New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, National Grid is committed to helping achieve the climate and decarbonization goals of an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The transportation team within the Customer organization group is focused on reducing emissions from vehicles, which remain stubbornly above 1990 levels. We have a goal of reaching 10 million zero emission vehicles on Northeast US roads by 2030, accounting for roughly 50% of all vehicles. Achieving this ambitious goal will require a massive transformation over the next ten years. This role reports to the Manager of Clean Transportation – Residential/Platform and will lead a specific portfolio of electric vehicle and other clean transportation products, ensuring they meet customer and stakeholder requirements and align with the group's strategic objectives. This role is responsible for all product activities including, but not limited to, innovation, design, piloting, deploying market strategy, and product management. This is a new role on a new team and responsibilities will likely evolve over time. Key Accountabilities * Brings new clean transportation products to market in support of National Grid's electric vehicle and other clean transportation priorities by analyzing customer insights, market conditions, regulatory environments, proposed product requirements and product development needs. * Works with the Customer Strategy team to understand customers' needs and desires by specifying the research required to obtain market information. * Works cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, IT, regulatory, and other functional groups to design, deliver and scale products. Delivers on time and on budget. * Responsible for product scale-up from the start-up phase to maturity with collaborative oversight and training; provides ongoing program support as necessary throughout program lifecycles. Presents business case to senior leadership and makes recommendations on scalability. * Ensures the effectiveness of existing products and services in the marketplace and establishes continuous improvement actions to correct any issues that might be preventing the full development of a product or a service. * Make investment recommendations within the transportation category to ensure there is a healthy portfolio of existing products and services as well as a robust pipeline of new ideas for future products and services. * Develops business plans and financial models that would maximize various evolving economic value streams of transportation offerings while integrating with the existing business utility business model. * Participates in regulatory filings, including developing testimony, presenting to regulatory bodies, testifying, and responding to information requests. * Participates in internal and external industry forums to advance conversation and policy relevant to clean transportation. * Ensures that Transportation products and services support the company's overall strategy and goals. Also ensures that those products and services are meeting the expectations of regulators and stakeholders. Qualifications * BA or BS required (Masters degree preferred) and 7+ years related work experience * Experience in clean energy and/or transportation is preferred though not required * Knowledge and experience in utility operations and regulation preferred though not required * Ability to think creatively and find unique solutions to complex issues * Experience with developing and interpreting financial forecasts and business models * Experience leading collaborative, cross-functional groups to deliver results * Ability to synthesize diverse inputs and translate customer needs and market conditions into solutions, balancing the value of different solutions; understands how best to utilize them and drive greater performance, considering the wider business context * Well-organized and able to balance competing priorities. Experience in consumer product development or in the transportation sector is preferred. * Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy.
