Schedule: Part Time Direct Care Position
Shift: 16 hours per week (Saturday 7:00am
3:00pm and Sunday 7:00am
All staff must attend a monthly Staff Meeting date/time to be determined and announced in advance.
Meeting waivers are provided for conflicts due to secondary employment and/or school (appropriate documentation required).
Salary: $12.00 per hour Mon-Fri and $13.00 per hour (shifts beginning 11PM Friday to 11PM on Sunday).

Whats the role of a Residential Counselor?: Residential Counselor is a direct care profession. Their primary responsibility is to manage the personal health, safety and welfare of the people living in the home.
You must also provide training, supervision and structure to individuals as they carry out their daily activities and routines. You would be responsible for administering and supervising medication; supervise and/or assist individuals in personal care areas i.e. bathing/toileting; participate and/or supervise in cleaning, cooking and life skills. You must communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and the individuals living in the homes.
Drive residents to/from day programs, outside/within their community using agency vehicles. This profession requires a significant amount of daily written and computerized documentation.
This career requires HS diploma or equivalent, a valid (non-provisional) drivers license; experience with ID/DD population is a plus and the ability to meet the physical requirements of CPR/First Aid and our emergency evacuation procedures.
