Residential Cleaner

Apply Job Type Full-time Description CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit is looking for a full-time Residential Cleaner. The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning common areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, etc.). This person will also perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects.

Responsibilities: Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types. Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture. Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.

Emptying trash cans. Washing and drying windows. Keeping all common spaces neat and tidy Collaborates with residents to teach and encourage cleaning procedures Communicate with Regional Coordinator to ensure facility always have sufficient cleaning products.

Informing the Regional Coordinator of repairs that need to be done. Performs other related duties which may be requested by supervisor. Full-time | 40 hours p/w| Benefit Eligible including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays Annual Salary: $35,000.00 Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.

Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment. Able to stand for extended periods of time. Able to lift up to 20 pounds for short periods of time.

Excellent organizational skills. Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision. Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.

Basic computer skills. Bilingual skills are a plus. Valid NJ Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
