Overview We're looking for a dynamic salesperson to join CORT's Residential team covering the rapidly growing Raleigh and Charlotte area. This person must be a self-starter, competitive, and a networker who thrives in a fast-paced environment providing solutions to a wide variety of clients.

The Residential Business Development Executive focuses on providing furnishing solutions to clients for short and long term needs within the Multifamily industry. This person will develop and execute sales strategies that lead to new revenue opportunities. They will establish and grow business partnerships within the multifamily industry by identifying client needs and selling the appropriate CORT products and services to meet those needs.

Responsibilities • Drive efforts to meet and/or exceed revenue goals. • Generate new business opportunities through pro-active sales efforts. • Identify new prospective customers by research, prospecting, networking, and relationships within targeted industry and trigger events. • Develop opportunities to partner and grow referrals through technology (Prop Tech) with Multifamily partners. • Establish a strategic network of influencers. • Develop and maintain monthly sales plans that deploy strategies and tactics to exceed revenue goals. • Build relationships with industry leaders. • Work in a fast-paced environment while acting as the client liaison to fulfill needs. • Use a collaborative approach that satisfies both internal and external customer relationships. • Maintain quality records and use Salesforce daily to manage activities. Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience either working in or selling to the multifamily industry and knowledge of multifamily industry property technology. • Successful track record of meeting and exceeding budgeted sales goals. • Familiarity with social media value. • Experience in solution and value-based selling. • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills. • Strategic thinking and demonstrates persistence to overcome obstacles. • Successful track record of meeting and exceeding budgeted sales goals. • Experienced in developing sales plans around market trends and trigger events. • Uses a collaborate approach to work with multiple decision makers. • CRM experience - Salesforce preferred.
