Residential Assistant Property Manager

Harmoniq Residential is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic individual to join our team as a Residential Assistant Property Manager. The purpose of the Assistant Property Manager is to work under the Property Manager to effectively manage and lead the property team (maintenance, leasing, etc.), work with vendors to accomplish community objectives and projects, market the community, and handle resident relations. The Assistant Property Manager will own the delinquency and collections process, while supporting the property manager on the financial objectives of the property. In addition, the Assistant Property Manager will performing leasing functions for the property.

As a successful Assistant Property Manager, you will manage a single residential community. You will work with the Property Manager and Leasing Agent to ensure the community is operating in alignment with the owner’s goals and objectives. You will provide a high degree of customer service and ultimately build strong relationships with the owner and the residents at this community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 2-3 years of property management experience.
• Must have availability to work a Tuesday to Saturday schedule.
• Strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and sales ability.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to a community team.
• Highly organized and capable of meeting strict deadlines and understand the sense of urgency.
• Able to undertake multiple projects, manage shifting priorities, and handle a heavy workload.
• Experience with Microsoft office suite with specific strength in Excel to develop and utilize spreadsheets.
• Competence in accounting software and property management software (Yardi, MRI, Entrata, AppFolio) preferred.
• Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends and sometimes on call for resident emergencies when manager approval is needed.
• Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns/issues to avoid escalation of the problem.
