Position Summary
Provide the day-to-day cares of the residents in accordance with established company policies and procedures, standards, job descriptions, and guidelines; and current federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the campus and as directed by the supervisor by performing the following duties.
Education, Licensure, & Experience
Be a minimum of at least 18 years of age.
Successful completion of a state approved Medication Aide course and certified by the appropriate state.
Valid and current CPR and first aid certification or ability to obtain a certification.
Experience preferred, but not required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide medication administration.
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) including, but not limited to, showering/bathing, basic apartment cleaning, laundry, and nail filling/trimming
Support residents with companion services including, but not limited to, running errands, online grocery ordering, decorating, and general tidying
Ensure resident rooms and living and working areas are clean, neat, and meet the needs of the resident.
Create and manage visiting schedule for Independence Plus residents.
Document all entries accurately and completely regarding daily cares on flow sheet notes, charts, etc.
