Resident Experience Coordinator

• Full-time: 80 hours biweekly: 8:00AM-4:30PM

The Resident Experience Coordinator is to develop and lead the Resident Experience Program that will engage residents in a comprehensive evaluation of their needs, lead to the formation of specific personal goals, and to connect residents to the many Wellness Programs and other activities best suited to achieving their goals. The recruitment, training, and supervision of staff mentors is a key part of the Resident Experience Coordinator role. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVINGS' Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, counseling or social work.Professional certification or training in life coaching, counseling, or related discipline.Previous experience serving the older adult population for a minimum of two (2) years, preferably in a coaching, counseling, or mentorship capacity preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Develops and leads the Resident Experience program. Develops and maintains all literature and supporting materials for the Resident Experience program.Recruits, trains, and leads resident and staff volunteers to serve as resident mentors in the Resident Experience program. Serves as a staff mentor for 3-5 residents at all times.Participates with residents in Wellness and other activities, including outdoor hikes and other indoor/outdoor activities such as life enrichment programs, trips, bocce, corn hole, pickle ball, and horseshoes several times per year.Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to support residents in setting and achieving personal, social and wellness objectives.Facilitate group workshops, seminars, and support groups on topics such as goal setting, communication skills, stress management and resilience.
