ABOUT YOU:

We will look to you to promote our CHIEF core values of compassion, humility, integrity, excellence and fun. The Resident Care Partner is responsible for all activities of daily living (ADLs) for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality resident care as indicated on the care plan

  • Promote residents' independence

  • Provide assistance with housekeeping and laundry

  • Medication administration depending on state regulations

  • Participate in community's Life Enrichment Activities, events and outings, while encouraging residents to attend

  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Experienced Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) per state requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime as needed

  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work harmoniously with other employees and develop/maintain good employee relations and employee morale

VIEW JOBS 3/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-18T00:00 Summary: * Rowan University Libraries seek an Acquisitions Head Clerk. The incumbent will be responsible for the resource budget for libraries on three campus. This requires the oversite of fiscal affairs in multiple areas and careful scrutiny of allocations, DCAs, and payments for a budget over $5,000,000. Additionally, the Acquisitions Head Clerk utilizes multiple complex systems within the library, at the university level, and various vendor interfaces. The library will transition to ALMA, referenced below, as the library management system effective this summer. Specific Duties of the Acquisitions Head Clerk: * Maintain budget accounts, fund transfers, allocations * Prepare analysis for budget projection for upcoming fiscal year for libraries on three campuses * Monitor work-flow from previous years as oversight for critical services * Serve on budget committee and ad-hoc task forces * Provide statistical and budget updates to the Associate Provost, Collection Strategy Librarian and to the Director of User Services and Collections * Create purchase orders and requisitions for library resources, renewals, services, and supplies * Design and monitor workflows in ALMA library management system with a high degree of accuracy and attention to deadlines * Allocate funds in GOBI, the vender database for monograph purchases * Allocate funds to Lyrasis, PALCI, Waldo, and VALE consortia * Communicate regularly with vendors for supplies, materials, resources * Establish liaison and cooperative working relationships with vendors, assuring compliance with Rowan and New Jersey processes including NJBRC * Maintain awareness of state laws and regulations related to purchasing in New Jersey * Prepare and process DCAs for medical libraries in Stratford and Camden, monitor for receipt * Oversee and prepare Board of Trustee resolutions for expenditures * Maintain in-depth knowledge of Banner financial * Receive invoices in Banner and send to Accounts Payable * Establish liaison and cooperative working relationships with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Contracts, and other units across three campuses * Maintain vendor mailing lists, records and files * Perform close out the end of each Fiscal Year Requirements: * Three (3) years of experience processing technical clerical work primarily regarding budget allocations, purchase orders, and expenditures that involves independent interpretation of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: * In-depth knowledge with Excel * Experience with data processing * Experience working with Banner * Experience working with ALMA * Experience working with GOBI Eligibility and Consideration: * Open to current employees in the competitive division who have an aggregate of one year of continuous permanent service as of the closing date in any competitive title and meet the required experience listed below. * For promotions, this would be a provisional opportunity pending exam. * Only completed internal applications submitted on or before the deadline from eligible candidates will be considered.
