Job Description/Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide administrative coordination of the Pediatric Residency Program, under the direction of the Program Director (PD) and Administrative Manager of Graduate Medical Education the Residency Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the residency training program.

The PC assists the Program Director (PD) in maintaining the educational quality of the training program and ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.

The PC functions as a liaison between the Program Director, trainees, GME office, participating sites, and other departments. Must be knowledgeable about activities at the various training sites in which their trainees rotate.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education: Associates Degree required.

Education Note:

Bachelors degree preferred. Extensive work experience may be required in lieu of education.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of three years of Graduate Medical Education residency, or fellowship experience. Certification Required:

Certified California Notary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, a collaborative/team communication style, ability to work with diverse populations. Must have ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks, problem solve and complete projects.

Must be neat, organized and have an attention to detail.

Must be reliable, dependable and have a positive attitude. Technical Knowledge:

Must have strong PC skills:

Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. Experienced in HITACHI, ECHO Credentialing system, MedHub, UCMe, UMe Physical Requirements:

Sit:

Up to 8 hours/day Stand/Walk: 3-6 hours Bend/Stoop:

Up to 3 hours Reach: Up to 3 hours Rep Use of UE/Grasp:

Up to 8 hrs Lift/Push/Pull: 15 lbs This job requires the ability to hear alarms clients and/or instruction.

The ability to see accurately from 20 inches to 20-ft. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function of this position.
