Required Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree required in Student Personnel, Counseling or a closely related field
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a higher education setting with experience in:
Working with a diverse population (students, faculty, staff, parents, outside
community partners.
Effective verbal, presentation, written, and digital intercultural communication skills.
Advising/coaching skills.
Crisis management/conflict resolution.
Managing a budget.
Skills:
Demonstrated initiative, creativity, leadership, organizational, and facilitation skills
Demonstrated understanding of mental health and student well-being concerns
Must be willing to learn American Sign Language and about Deaf culture
