Supervise, train, schedule and evaluate Reservation Agents, ensuring that all procedures are performed to the hotel's standards. Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests, visitors and other departments.

Requirements

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Be familiar with all services and features and local activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately

  • Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare work schedules weekly, adhering to budget goals
  • Ensure that the Reservation lines are attended at all times during scheduled hours and that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands
  • Document any late or absent employees; maintain accurate and current employee records
  • Schedule and assign staff breaks
  • Communicate anticipated business demands daily with each employee (arrivals/departures, group functions, guest requests, etc.)
  • Ensure staff's knowledge of hotel services, features and amenities
  • Prepare and communicate assignments to the staff. Assign additional tasks as they arise
  • Respond to incoming calls
  • 1 year experience as a Reservations Agent, preferably at a 4 star hotel
  • Excellent customer service focus and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Publisher
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to input and access information in the property management system
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal

As a Reservation Supervisor youll be achieving customer satisfaction and room revenue goals while taking guests through the booking process, obtains all pertinent information to complete reservations; assists with weekly reports; functions as a main resource for CRC Agents needing assistance technically or with regards to achieving customer satisfaction. * Responds to guest reservation requests and executes prompt, courteous and accurate guest service * Supervisors are expected to be fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel services, restaurants, lounges and the local downtown area, addressing questions pertaining there of * Supervisors may also act as PBX operators directing callers to the correct extensions and properties * Assists with the inputting of group rooming lists * Maintains a clean and organized work area. Attends all scheduled meetings as required * All other duties as assigned by Director of Customer Relations Management * Assists in covering necessary shifts in order to maintain required call center hours Where Youve Been: * Were looking for someone with a High School diploma (or equivalent) or Bachelors Degree preferred. * At least two years Hotel or Hospitality industry experience required * Minimum of 1 year OPERA system experience. * Prior customer service experience, with Hotel Front Desk or Reservation experience preferred. * You must also have the ability to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line phones, photocopiers, etc. Office whiz wanted! * At least two years experience required. Demonstrated understanding of a property management system. * Prior supervisory experience preferred * Strong customer service focus * A strong attention to detail * Bilingual is a plus Physical Requirements: * Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line touch tone phone, cabinets, FAX machines, photocopiers Schedule Requirements: * Must be available to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, may include evenings. * This role is primarily focusing on weekends (Friday Monday) the additional day in the week will be flexible When Youre Here: The hospitality business never sleeps (though our guests do quite well). To make sure everything runs smoothly around the clock you must be outstanding at time management, planning and organizing, decision-making and problem solving.
