JUSTIN is seeking a Reservation Sales Manager who is passionate about enhancing the guest experience and driving sales goals. The Reservation Sales Manager is responsible for guest communication, including inbound/outbound calls, email, etc. for 3 unique wine brands - JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, Landmark Vineyards, and Lewis Cellars - from one centralized call center. This is a great opportunity for someone who like managing multiple projects at once with a singular goal of creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Job Description

  • Promptly answer the telephone using a positive and clear voice. Graciously receives guest communication, offering appropriate suggestions - follows up as needed

  • Promptly respond to guest emails and text messages with proper verbiage and answers

  • Lead a team to deliver unparalleled customer service

  • Manage guest feedback in an appropriate and timely fashion

  • Create processes that grow the business

  • Maximize profit by upselling experiences

  • Build strong relationships with guests and wine society members

  • Track and report on guest feedback, with a business development mindset

  • Assist senior leadership with planning and budgeting

  • Work hard to fully understand guest requests, and responds with appropriate actions

  • Have a deep understanding of local attractions, including wine tours, tastings, events, etc. and uses this information to enhance the guest experience

  • Promptly completes the reservation process for multiple outlets and events by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information

  • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or busy days, serving as a role model for other associates

  • Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions. Make decisions and act based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situation

  • Maintain the VIP and tour calendars and bookings. Ensure all staff is aware of important visitors, private tours, etc

  • Complete annual employee performance reviews for direct reports

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction and delegation to staff

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience in a hospitality or consumer facing role. Experience in the wine industry a plus.

  • Proven success working in a customer service position or industry

  • Demonstrated strong ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to establish direction, obtain commitment and execute appropriate logistical processes

  • Analytical-synthesizes complex or diverse information

  • Problem solving-identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully and collaboratively

  • Oral communication-speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and actively participates in productive meetings

  • Written Communication-possesses excellent written communication skills and composes email and other written correspondence in a professional manner.

  • Quality management-looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

  • Judgment-displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions

  • Planning/organizing-prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans

Pay Range: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
