We are currently seeking a full-time Reservations Agent to start Oct 1st. Typical schedule is Wednesday through Sunday 8:30-5pm.
The Reservations Agent coordinates pre-arrival call (PAC) program, acts as a backup guest services agent, and is a major contributor and advocate of guest profiling program and complete rebooking calls.
Call guests for their Pre-Arrival Calls
Review new reservations daily & reply to PAC emails from guests
Book dinner reservations with the concierge, book treatments with the spa, make room moves (change of requests, bringing dog, children, extra person etc.)
Review overall reservation.
Take hotel reservations calls as a backup agent
Accurately input reservations into the PMS (Property management system)
Via Third Social - answer inquiries of room rates, outlets and room locations same day.
Interact with group sales department to maximize bookings
Know the dates ,rates, minimum stays for the different seasons
Know policies for Booking, Canceling and Taking Payments on Reservations
Know the Sonnenalp Performance Management System
Sell all hotel Facilities: Spa, Concierge, Restaurant Hours of Operation, etc...
Book GDS system navigation, LHW-(leading Hotels), Expedia HUBX(website),VVCTB(tourism Bureau) and VBCR(Vail resorts)
Follow LHW(leading Hotels of the World)/LQA(Leading Quality Assurance) criteria in making Reservations and upselling property.
Previous Reservations, Front Desk, or related hotel field preferred
Experience with Springer Miller or similar Property Management System required
College degree in Hospitality preferred
Knowledge of the Vail Valley and surrounding areas preferred
Good spoken and written English.
