Overview

The Noble Research Institute LLC in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking a highly motivated part-time Research Technician to assist with all aspects of lab, field and greenhouse tasks to support the scientific research objectives of small grains genomics and breeding research. Research related to this position will be conducted in the Small Grains Breeding program under the direction of Dr. Xuefeng Ma.

Research Technician - PT (General) Job Description

The regular work schedule for this position is up to 5 days per week during the normal 8:00am to 5:00pm work day. This position will be limited to 28 hours per week.

Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities

Duties of the position will include but are not limited to threshing and cleaning seed, planting, harvesting, and weighing seed samples which could involve driving vehicles with attached trailers and/or equipment.

Qualifications

No minimum education requirement. Must be at least 16 years of age by first day of employment.

Valid US driver license is required. Experience in research and/or field work are preferred.

Because of the physical demands of this position, the selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a work step examination.
