Perform laboratory and related work. These duties shall include running of flow cytometry specifmens and analysis; cell selection using immunomagnetic bead technology; cell cryopreservation. Maintain laboratory records and data.


  • Perform flow cytometry stains.

  • Maintain various databases.

  • Set up and calibrate laboratory apparatus and instruments; read and record instrument data; enter and tabulate data; keep accurate laboratory records.

  • Perform large scale cell selections using immunomagnetic bead technology.

  • Must have working knowledge of cryopreservation techniques.

  • Assist with cell transport and distribution.

  • Ability to handle cryopreserved samples stored in liquid nitrogen.

  • Must have a strong background in flow cytometry analysis, with the ability to troubleshoot flow abnormalities.

  • Track inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment. Order laboratory equipment and supplies as needed.

  • Maintain laboratory QC records.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelors degree emphasizing laboratory science.

  • Four of more years experience as a labortatory tech II or equivalent.

The team develops hypotheses and designs and conducts research studies to investigate those hypotheses. The results are used to guide internal teams and are published as guidance and thought leadership for the global advertising industry. This team helps develop world-class marketing strategies for both the world's largest advertisers and the millions of small businesses that use our platforms. In this role you will pair your analytical skills with Facebooks unique data set to understand the role of creative in advertising. You will work closely with our global Creative Strategists to inform creative development and build systems that achieve our clients business objectives. While the role is based in the USA, you will partner with teams in all major global markets, working to develop region-specific understanding when required. You're a doer, who loves to ship ideas that will impact businesses of all shapes and sizes. Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to measure and communicate effective strategies for online advertising and brand communications. Manage research processes including project/operations management, client communications, and generating guidance for non-technical audiences. Design and execute custom primary research using a wide variety of quantitative methods and interpret outcomes through the lens of creative (including visual, linguistic, and conceptual elements). Establish best practices in consumer-facing communications by applying inferential statistical methods including experimental design. Partner with cross-functional teams including Creative Shop, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Sales to develop solutions that make your work scalable. Package research effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences. QUALIFICATIONS: Top MUST HAVE/ Non-Negotiable Hard Skills: * 2+ years of experience in quantitative research, analytics, or data science. * Experience in designing analytical models and mining structured and unstructured datasets. * Experience with SQL, relational databases, machine learning/scripting languages (e.g. R or Python). * Experience with statistical analysis and experimental design. Education Background/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Behavioral Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or similar quantitative field. I would say degree is required because we need an understanding of statistics, but we are open-minded on major as long as they can demonstrate statistical understanding. Years of Experience Required & in what?: * 2+ years of experience in quantitative research, analytics, or data science. Nice to have skills: * Experience with lab-based experimental research. * Experience in the marketing or advertising industries. * Experience working with product teams to build scalable, research-driven product solutions.
