Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This is a Technical position within the Loiselle Laboratory in the Center for Musculoskeletal Research.
The job consists of laboratory work using complex genetic mouse models, cell culture systems and molecular biology techniques to understand tendon biology and healing. The successful candidate will have some experience with molecular biology or related techniques, outstanding organizational skills, careful attention to detail and strong communication skills. This position involves mouse colony management, mouse recovery surgery (flexor tendon repair), tissue harvest and sample processing (preparation of mouse tissues for histology and biomechanical analyses), molecular biology techniques (PCR, gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, etc.), cell culture skills (mammalian cell culture, transfection), and data analysis/interpretation. , Hours of the position are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday (flexible), work on limited weekends may be required. Specific Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Associate's degree in appropriate discipline plus 2-3 years specialized experience in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $ 19.37 - $ 27.12 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.
